Rewards in this form are subject to tax at the appropriate current rate – this could mean you pay up to 40% of the £250, and your colleague could pay 40% of their £100, in tax.
How do you ensure you receive your reward?
You need to make sure your colleague gives us your name at the point of registration with us. If you call us or email us and give us their details directly, please ensure you have checked with your colleague first. We can then contact them ourselves.
We’ll ‘attach’ your details to your colleagues and ask you which form of reward you would like to receive. As soon as they work, we will make arrangements for your reward to be sent to you. We will then check with your colleague as to which form of reward they would like to receive and send that to them.
It’s really easy. There aren’t any confusing terms and conditions – as long as the doctor works and we have been given clear information at the point in time the doctor registers with us that you recommended them to us, you and they will receive rewards. And you can receive as many rewards as you would like, we just need a doctor attached to each one!!! So make sure the doctor gives us your details at the point of registration if they come direct to us and not later on as we cannot accept it.
We know there is no such thing as a free lunch – but this is pretty close to the next best thing.
Recommendation Scheme – terms and conditions
Doctors registered with Medic International or Holt Doctors (the “Recommender”) who recommend a colleague (the “Recommended Doctor”) who then subsequently works for Medic International or Holt Doctors are eligible for a reward to the value of £250 for the Recommender and £100 (the “Reward”) for the Recommended Doctor. The reward may be taken in the following forms:
1 Love2shop High Street vouchers to value of £250 (Recommender) or £100 (Recommended Doctor)
2 £250 (Recommender) or £100 (Recommended Doctor) paid via payroll and which is subject to taxation at the Recommender’s and Recommended Doctor’s (as appropriate) applicable rate
This ‘£250 to the Recommender and £100 to the Recommended Doctor scheme’ commences 3 February 2011 and cannot be backdated.
The Recommender and the Recommended Doctor may choose their reward in whichever form they prefer, they do not need to take the same form.
The Recommender must provide clear details of the Recommended Doctor at the point of registration. Medic International or Holt Doctors must be able to identify the Recommended Doctor from the details the Recommender provides.

The Recommended Doctor must provide clear details of the Recommender at the point of registration. Medic International or Holt Doctors must be able to identify the Recommender from the details the Recommended Doctor provides.
The Reward will be issued to the Recommender and the Recommended Doctor within one week of the Recommended Doctor first working for either Medic International or Holt Doctors.
There is no limit to the number of doctors that can be recommended and thus no limit to the number of Rewards which may be payable to a Recommender.
Recommended Doctors can only be recommended once irrespective of whether they work for Holt Doctors or Medic International.
It is the responsibility of the Recommended Doctor to provide details of the Recommender, or the Recommender to provide details of the Recommended Doctor, at the point of registration with Medic International or Holt Doctors. If this information is not provided at the point of registration, no Reward will be subsequently issued.
It is the responsibility of the Recommender to advise the Recommended Doctor that they will recommended them to Medic International or Holt Doctors prior to that recommendation taking place.
Medic International or Holt Doctors will provide the Recommended Doctor with the name of the Recommender.
Medic International and Holt Doctors reserve the right to end this Scheme and will post notice to this effect on the company website one calendar month prior to the closure of the Scheme. Recommenders will be advised of any cessation of the Scheme if their Recommended Doctor/s has not worked prior to cessation of the Scheme one month prior to the closure of the Scheme.
